It was my First trip to the infamous Lake Wanaka, which is a scenic 60 minute drive from Queenstown Airport. Being a Photographer, I was thrilled to see the Beauty of the Lake, with the Remarkables at the Backdrop and the 'Lonely Tree' standing still in the clear, cold, trasparent water.
The sky was clear, and it was a cool calm ambience, and that was a perfect place to communicate with Mother Nature ....
I managed to spend some evening time capturing the beauty with a promise to comeback on the next morning to capture the first light in my memories.
For the record, below is a bit more infor about the lake:
'Lake Wanaka is located in the Otago region of New Zealand, at an altitude of 300 metres. Covering an area of 192 km², it is New Zealand's fourth largest lake, and estimated to be more than 300 m deep. Its name is Māori, a corruption of Oanaka.' - Source: Wikipedia
